By creating an account or using the Faldaro platform, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to accept these terms for that organisation.
Faldaro provides tools for building forms, collecting submissions and running the process around them: calculations, workflows, generated documents, notifications, payments, reports and AI assistance. Nothing in the platform is specific to a business domain — your organisation decides what its folders, forms and workflow states mean, and is responsible for what it builds with them.
You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and to keep your credentials secure — including API keys, which carry the privileges granted to them and should be revoked as soon as a system stops needing one. When your organisation publishes a form to the public, sends notifications, delivers files, or forwards submissions to third-party services such as Zapier, Slack or your own webhooks, it does so at its own direction and is responsible for having the right to collect and share that information. Do not use public forms to collect data you are not entitled to collect, and do not use the platform to send unsolicited messages.
You retain ownership of the data you enter into the platform, including submissions made to your forms through public links. We process it solely to provide the service to you and your organisation, and we do not sell it to third parties. You can export your submissions at any time, and import history you bring from elsewhere.
You can set a retention period on any of your forms, after which submissions to it are deleted automatically. Deleting is what it says: the record, its revisions, its uploaded files and its generated documents are removed permanently, and we cannot restore them for you afterwards. Retention applies to everything the form has already collected, not only to what it collects next, so setting a short period on an established form can remove a great deal at once. Choosing whether to set it, and what period is right for the data you hold, is your organisation's decision and responsibility — export anything you need to keep first.
Your organisation can create API keys and use them to reach the platform from its own systems, including the versioned API for evaluating and filing submissions. A key acts only with the privileges granted to it, and those can never exceed the privileges of whoever created it. Requests are subject to rate limits so that no one caller can degrade the service for others; the limits and how to back off are described in our documentation. Do not attempt to circumvent them, and treat a key as the credential it is.
Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe, monthly or annually, at the prices shown on the pricing page. Plan allowances (such as storage, email and AI credits) are described there; going over a soft allowance never stops your forms working, and AI credits stop at their allowance rather than incurring charges. Optional prepaid AI credit packs may be purchased on paid plans; a pack is a one-time purchase that never renews automatically, and unused pack credits do not expire. Nothing is ever billed as overage. Cancelling stops renewal at the end of the current billing period; nothing is deleted when a subscription lapses. Upgrades apply immediately with proration; downgrades take effect at the end of the period. Additional seats, where a plan offers them, are charged per seat per period and are removed by the same route they were added.
Forms can collect payments from your submitters through your own connected Stripe account. The amount charged is always computed by the platform from your form's rules — never taken from the browser. On the Free plan, we deduct a platform fee of 3% of each payment collected, taken at the time of the charge; every paid plan has no platform fee. The fee rate applied to a payment is fixed when the payment is created, so a later plan change does not alter payments already made. Refunds are initiated by your organisation and are full-amount; card details are handled by Stripe and never touch Faldaro.
Public forms published by organisations on the Free plan display a short "Powered by Faldaro" attribution. Paid plans remove it. The attribution never identifies the person filling in the form and links only to our own site.
AI features — the assistant, form generation, document import, and standing agents — act with the permissions of the user who invokes them (or, for agents, the permissions explicitly granted by their author, which can never exceed the author's own). AI usage is metered in credits with a monthly allowance per plan. Content you submit to AI features is processed by our AI provider to produce the result; see the Privacy Policy. AI output is validated against your form's real configuration before it is applied, and nothing an AI feature proposes is saved without a person taking the normal save path — but you remain responsible for reviewing what you accept.
We work to keep the platform available and secure, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted availability. We may update features and these terms over time; material changes — including any change to fees — will be communicated through the platform before they take effect.
